Nice Work Block H!

Wow! You guys did such a great job on your postings! Make sure you all take the time to check out Bryan’s, Devon’s, Devyani’s (she even added links to all the other classes on her page AND linked to dictionary references throughout her article!), Hanna’s, Mei Huii’s (nice categories Mei Huii!), Salah’s, and Vanessa’s blogs. Well done!

Almost everyone managed to post on your own blogs this week. Great job!

We would like to point out what an absolutely fantastic job Saeri did on her blog!

You should also check out some of the great blogs from Block D to get an idea of how to start posting.

Excellent Posts Block D!

We were looking through your posts over the last few days, and we are so impressed at how much you’ve learned. If you haven’t had time to take a look at your classmates postings, at least make sure you check out Andrea’s, Annika’s, Lilian’s, Mahera’s, Robbie’s, and Sekheena’s (she even added a link to a dictionary definition! Well done!

What makes an excellent blog posting?

Here’s a list of what we discussed in class today:

THE POST INCLUDES

• The same title as the homework or classwork assignment on this site
• A link back to the homework or classwork assignment on this site
• A link to the article that the student is discussing
• The questions (copied and pasted) from the homework or classwork assignment on this site

IN THE CONTENT OF THE POST, THE STUDENT
• Follows the instructions from the homework or classwork assignment on this site
• Clearly explains what he or she is writing about
• Uses paragraph spacing, titles, and headings to organize the post
• Uses proper conventions (grammar & spelling – use spell check)
• Uses thorough examples
• Uses many details

Keep these tips in mind when you are writing your own posts!
