To be acceptable, the event has to last in the history books for at least ten years and has to make the world news. I also learned that there are three types of current events. There’s social, political and cultural. Social events are mainly about human interest. Most of the time they’re emotional, but not always. Political events are usually involving policy, citizens, the state or its government. Cultural events are about the life of art. Sometimes a part of civilization of a particular nation or period.
