[...] This article about bird flu (H5N1 virus) is something that effects the whole world. It has been traveling around the world for a few years now, and has just recently only hit Indonesia again. In Indonesia, four people died a few nights ago, one, of the H5NI virus and the others died before they could even take the test. The Bird flu has claimed at least 140 lives since it hit the Asian poultry. In late 2003, 45 people in Indonesia died of it, the world’s worst affected country, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). Who is affected and how? : Everyone can be affected. As the news reporters say, the migrating big birds which contract the disease from the affected countries spreads the disease to the different places/countries they go to. http://ssmeetsit.edublogs.org/2006/08/22/homework-for-block-h-23-august-2006/ Citation: http://www.cnn.com/2006/HEALTH/conditions/08/18/indonesia.birdflu.ap/index.html [...]
